The above illustration shows a fresh food that catches mold / fungi within a few days whereas a typical McDonald’s burger will stay almost the same even after 6 months!!!! Is that WOW GOOD or SERIOUSLY DAMAGING??
Preservative free food means small shelf life. This becomes a challenge for people like us who advocate and make food preservative free. Some of our customers come to us with complaint of mold and fungi on the breads a couple of days after the purchase and question us about our quality! It takes a good half hour to tell such customers that if our bread catches mold easily that means it is as close to being as natural as possible and if some breads do not perish, that means even mold and fungi do not want to thrive on them. In such a case why would you want to eat them? Preservatives are seriously damaging our health and well-being. Many so called life-style diseases have come into picture due to rampant use of preservatives in everything available on the shelves of a supermarket.
Yes, our breads perish much faster than any other bread in the market simply because we do not use any preservatives. Moreover, aren’t breads suppose to be consumed fresh? Then why go through the trouble of storing them and increasing their shelf life. Just consume fresh and finish it in a day. Else a modern day solution – Refrigerate it in a air-tight container. SIMPLE!
We believe in not complicating the food. Keep it simple, humble and true! π
Nothing like fresh bread. Tastes better, smells better and better for you. Breads with shelf-life should stay on the shelf. π
